Tim Roe

Tim is currently employed at American Express Global
Network Services as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships. In this role he leads
the Network Card License business in EMEA including la Caixa, Lloyds TSB, MBNA
and Swedbank, as well as partnerships in France. Prior to taking responsibility
for this area Tim led the MBNA UK account working with the partner to successfully
launch the MBNA Rewards product line and the Virgin Atlantic Co-Brand.
Tim has extensive experience in the card business in
marketing and payment scheme business. Prior to joining American Express he
held key positions with Morgan Stanley’s card business as head of customer
acquisition and then new business development. Prior to that he worked at
Lloyds TSB in product development for credit cards where he launched Balance
Transfers, the No Interest Free Period borrowing card and piloting Visa Cash.
He started his career in the UK at Visa International working in a number of
areas including the travel and entertainment sector, corporate communication
and debit cards across EMEA.
A West Australian he is a graduate in Arts majoring in
Politics and History from The University of Western Australia. His passions
outside of work include cooking, gym and hill walking.
